Pilot Point Texas platted in 1853 on Christmas day. Its name was derived from one of the highest points in the area that was used to overlook the crossing of the Trinity River. It’s a very special place, located in Denton County with the perfect blend of old and new. There’s Antique shops and two great shopping centers. There’s a modern medical complex and arguably one of the best small town libraries in the state. Pilot Point has excellent schools and is growing and is definitely a great place to live!
The recreational opportunities are amazing! Check out Lake Ray Roberts. And just two miles from town is Jordan Branch Park boasting 400 acres of fishing, hiking, picnicking and horseback-riding. Additionally, Isel du Bois State park is close by offering 1400 acres of extraordinary beauty and outdoor fun.
Pilot Point is centrally located and everything that the Dallas-Fort Worth area has to offer and having DFW International airport and Alliance airport less than an hour away keeps it quiet and but still convenient for travel.
